We understand how difficult it can be dealing with loss and grief.   Having a safe place to connect with others who are also on a similar journey can be particularly helpful.  Studies have found that peer support groups can provide a sense of social support and connection that help reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.

On the last Monday of each month, we host a coffee morning at the Ian Anderson House Resource Centre from 10:00—11:30 am.  While we may have some guest speakers from time to time, this is mainly an informal, friendly setting where conversation is driven by the group.  We share stories and memories or sometimes just talk about the weather.

No matter where you are on your grief journey, your input and participation would be greatly welcomed.  We hope to see you.

Huge thank you to the wonderful folks at Muldoon’s Craft Roasted Coffee for supplying the coffee and the large urns for our group as well the coffee brewed in the hospice
